SHORT HISTORY OF AI

During the summer of 1956, the best computer scientists and mathematicians gathered to start a new project to solve problems requiring human-level intelligence. It was also the first time the word artificial intelligence was used. The first AI program could only solve mathematical theorems. Soon after, a programming language for processing symbolic structures appeared. In the early 1960s, scientists invented the world’s first robot that used AI. Around the same period, they created the first “Chat Bot” named Eliza.

WHAT IS AI?

AI is a program programmed into a neural network. This neural network can process the entered data, remember it, and upgrade itself before outputting new data. So, AI is a program that learns from its own mistakes in solving different problems.
