Television or TV companies have been fulfilling picture display technology, design, and picture resolution for decades. With the new modern TVs with narrow screens, it all started with LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) technology.

After LCD screens came two more technologies, OLED, miniLED, and microLED screens. Of course, other subtypes of these two screens have been adapted for smaller devices. Currently, all technologies have their weaknesses and strengths. They all start with a different approach, but they are all rushing towards the same goal.

OLED TVs are the screens of choice today, and this technology could see a major upgrade in 2024 when PHOLED becomes more widespread. Samsung and LG are developing PHOLED technology to replace OLED if all goes well.
